Two weeks ago, there was a huge car boot sale that happened in the city. I have been looking forward to going there and was telling my friends about it. Unfortunately, that day hubby has to work leaving me no choice but to stay home and watch the kids while he finished his assignment. We managed to go to the sale after he was done with work but it was already almost 30 minutes before closing time when we got there.
Most of the sellers have already packed and left. There were only a few that lingered, wanting to get rid of all their stuff and they were slashing down their prices – they’re almost give-aways! I was able to buy a couple of checkered blouses, some pair of branded jeans and my daughter even got FREE stuffed toys. A friend was able to buy speakers, a bag (for half a dollar!) and also pretty blouses. It would have been more fun had we arrived earlier, we could have seen or bought many interesting stuff. Do you think someone was selling humidifier filters? How about old but still working computers? Oh well, that’s the beauty of bargain-hunting. You wouldn’t know what you’ll unearth in the pile of people’s trash.
More bargain finds soon! I still have to take pictures of ‘em!
