We used to have a family business providing computer training, rentals and services, and we deal with all sorts of people from all walks of life. During day time, most of our customers were students who need to rent computers to do some school work or play games or to chat. Then there were some customers who were job-hunting and busy making their resumes or surfing the web for jobs.
It was interesting to see customers browsing the Internet for just about anything under the sun. We know how browsing the net can be absorbing as one click leads to another, you’d often be surprised how you end up on Justin Bieber’s fan site or an herbal phentermine page or an obscure blog of somebody continents away. Well, some of our customers are just dropping by to search the Internet for song lyrics, or get information about their favorite celebrities, or chat with their online friends and communicate with family and relatives abroad.
During evenings, our computers were used for the computer training seminars and the participants were civil engineers and architects or construction managers and builders. They’re not allowed to surf the web during classes though, as they had to focus on the lesson at hand.
