The few words in the title above are actually taken from a lullaby which is popular in our family. Mom used to sing it to us when we were infants, then we used to sing it to our nephews and nieces when they were still cute babies, and now I usually sing it to my little kids to lull them to go to sleep. But sometimes babies are still active and wide awake even at midnight when I’m so sleepy myself. So what to do?

I’ve read some bedtime tips from a parenting article and what really got my attention is about laying the baby comfortably on her back and tracing the letters I-L-Y on her tummy while saying the words “I love you.” It’s a Touch Therapy that comforts and soothes the baby, and according to experts, infant massage makes them healthy and improves their immunity. Also, it’s advisable to turn off those bright chandeliers and ceiling lamps, and turn on a tiny night lamp about half an hour before bedtime to condition the baby for sleeping.
