Checking in a hotel can be tough especially if you’re tired from a long journey and need to relax, or if you’re in a hurry for a meeting and need to put your stuff immediately in your room. Well, here’s some good news for travellers, some hotels are already spearheading programs that let their guests skip the check-in process and go directly to their rooms.

Every hotel has different ways of making their guests feel welcome, and personally I find it a good idea to skip the usually long check-in process. For instance, during holidays and peak travel season, the long lines at the check-in counters can be such a drag. Hotels implementing a streamlined check-in procedure can also provide other extras for their guests. Hmmm… how some complimentary massage, free drinks or custom koozies and the likes? I’m sure any guest would feel welcome and happy to be given extra goodies for their stay. And happy satisfied hotel guests translate to loyal customers in the future, yes?
