When our family had a vacation in a Nordic country, we stayed at my sister’s flat where each family tenant is provided by the owner one hour of free sauna every week. They would take a bath, in an exclusive place, then after shower, would go to a hot oven-like chamber to be treated to the steam coming from heaps of hot coals with herbs, to help a person sweat out the toxins from his body.

There are so many ways of cleansing out the toxins from our bodies with the aid of food supplements such as colon and body cleanser and other herbal products. However, those in colder countries enjoy going to saunas which not only provide therapeutic effects to the body but is also an opportunity to bond between families and friends when they go in groups. For them it’s part of their culture and living a healthy lifestyle.
