Teleconferencing has become more accepted and acknowledged by big companies and organizations these days. Aside from savings in finances, business meetings via teleconferencing means no more travel, thus saving employees’ time and effort. For environmentalists out there, this means reduced carbon emissions.

Most employees would prefer not leaving their workplace, they feel that traveling for business reasons is just added stress, and more work is piled up after few days of being away from the office. Some employees though feel the opposite. They like to be assigned outside the office and meet colleagues from other branches or get together with clients and suppliers. I guess this type of employees are the travel bugs who don’t mind being in airplanes regularly as long as they have their netbooks or apple ipods with them during their trip.
