You’ve probably heard of the destructible typhoons that came one after the other which ravaged the Philippines. Many lives and homes were lost, many properties gone, and still many towns are still submerged in the water.
Each one has different stories to tell; stories of how they survived, how they’re coping up with the loss of a loved one or of their precious properties… It’s very heart wrenching to see these people telling their stories on TV or reading their tales from the news.
Some schools and government agencies weren’t spared by the floods. Important records and books in libraries were destroyed. I guess even data that are thought to be safely stored in computers were also affected. When this kind of calamity happens, it’s better to have online backup for important files coz they will really survive.
