When we moved into our new apartment, one of the complaints I had was the small space in our bathroom. Only one person can use it at a time. If my husband is shaving or brushing his teeth in the lavatory, I have to squeeze in to go to the shower area. And when we give baths to our daughter, the little space becomes even smaller because we have to give way for her tub. What a bathroom design! Fortunately, the owner placed a mirror on the door to give an illusion of a bigger space. If not, I’d feel like I’m suffocated inside.
Another problem is organizing our toiletries. It’s a challenge really coz there aren’t enough cabinets to place them in. I think I got used to the bathroom of the previous apartment we were living in. That was for me the ideal size and design of what a good bathroom should be.
I like bathrooms that are spacious; where you don’t feel like you’re trapped. I like bathrooms that have plenty of cabinets for keeping and storing toiletries, towels and even bath toys of our child. With enough storage spaces, even a small bathroom can become well organized and clutter-free. Choosing the right bathroom furniture and fixtures also plays a major role in making a good-looking bathroom.
