Decorating the house for Christmas is more fun when you let your kids participate. There are many arts and crafts for Christmas decors that your young ones can help you with to decorate your house. They can even do it as classroom project together with their classmate or as a Sunday school activity. Even when we are already adults, my sisters and I still enjoy creating our own decorations. Aside from the fun we have making the decorations; we also get to practice our creativity and also save lots of money.
Since Christmas tree is one sure thing that families will put up in their homes, a Christmas tree ornament is one ideal craft to do coz you will need lots of decors anyway to deck a tree.
This one is from amazingmoms.com, an easy to make Christmas tree decoration.

You will need the following:
A clean lid from frozen juice container
Construction paper
Old Christmas cards.
Ribbon
Glue
Cut a favorite picture from a card. Using the juice can lid, trace and cut a circle from the construction paper. Glue the picture onto the paper and the paper onto the lid.
Here’s a job for Mom or dad…
Use a glue gun to attach a paper clip to the lid for a hanger.
Tips:
You can spray paint the lids in gold, green or red to add a bit more. If you have particularly creative kids, they can glue objects onto their lids!
