I know most of us would love to be unique with our personal belongings, right? Though I’m not really that particular about it, I know some people who would label their shirts, bags, towels, hankies, gadgets and other stuff with their names, icons or photos of their favorite idols, cartoon characters, pets and whatnot. Some would even personalize their stuff using plastic engraving machines or have them embroidered at some gift shops. It’s the innate need to be different and sending a silent message telling others, “this is mine!” Isn’t it that seeing our names on our stuff makes us happy as well?
Regarding personalized stuff, this reminds me of the wedding gift set of plates, saucers and mugs given to us by hubby’s friends. Each charming colorful piece is hand-painted with both hubby’s and my name on it. It sure makes me happy every time I look at them being displayed on the cupboard. I was also delighted when big sis sent me a large metal pendant of the first letter of my name. It looks really nice together with the star pendant I already have. Wearing it makes me feel like a teen again, my first name’s letter hanging on my neck like a dog tag. LOL!

1That’s so funny - I actually wear a necklace with the first letter of my boyfriends name around my neck! I get made fun of all the time but I don’t care, he’s the greatest and I want the world to know.
If you need any more insight on laer engraving don’t hesitate to ask the folks at Universal Laser Systems, they are always happy to help!
Cheers,
Jessica
