In my attempt to practice frugality, one cold day I turned off the heater at home. Since I was wearing tank top and shorts, my usual home attire, I felt cold by night time.
Looking for an affirmation that what I did was right, I went to hubby and asked him how much we save if we don’t use the heater. He wasn’t aware that I turned them off. He casually replied that we don’t pay for it.
Hahaha! Apparently, since there’s no way how to meter the heater’s use, the owner decided not to let us pay for it. On a hindsight, even if we’re not paying for its use, its still eating up the resources in a global scale.
