I wish traveling isn’t that expensive. With the high cost of fuel, travel fares have also raised which makes traveling a bit harder to achieve. This summer alone, we’ve spent a considerable amount of money on gas as we’re almost out every weekend to some far off places to tour. But compared to airfare, our road trip expenses still comes out cheaper.

Then there’s the accommodation to consider too. Looking for cheap hotels can be tough especially this peak season for vacations. Most hotels are packed and finding a fairly priced yet decent room can be a challenge especially in places popular to tourists. Think Paris, Prague or Madrid. I wonder how much a night in Madrid hotels would cost.

Since I’ve been searching for cheap hotels for our probable trip to another city in the coming days, when I chanced on Destinia.com. It is a nifty tool for travelers searching for low priced hotels in any points of destinations. It scours the internet for special deals on hotels, different types of accommodations, services and amenities. Knowing in advance how much hotel rooms would cost in a particular city makes planning and budgeting easy. I was a bit disappointment with the results of my search for Paris hotels. Sigh… I wasn’t able to find an affordable rate even with their 2 star hotels. I have to keep looking!
