Do you read? What kind of books do you prefer?

It’s been quite a long time since I flipped pages of a book. That doesn’t count my girl’s kiddie books here. Anyway, I’d go for light reads and inspirational ones. With all the tragic and not-so-good news I’ve been seeing and hearing everyday in the media, I like taking a break by reading books that gives me the positive mood.

There are times though when I like to divert from the usual but I haven’t really tried a suspense novel yet. I know there are many bookworms who like the thrill and excitement that suspense novels bring. That’s why I’d like to share a book that might be of interest to all of you.

Its entitled “Retribution“ which is about a killing spree involving 8 men (they were friends since childhood)who named themselves The Kings. An NYPD detective investigates the murders and this is where the twist and turns of the novel revolve. It’s interesting to note that there are bits of clues laced within the story thereby giving the readers the feeling of being part of the investigation.

This is the first book of the author Richard A. Yacenda who’s from Florida, USA. Mr. Yacenda used to be the President and CEO of a highly successful New York City advertising agency. He graduated from the City College of New York and is a veteran of the United States Navy.
