When I first arrived in my hubby’s home, I was very tired that sleeping was the first thing I did coz I came from a long trip then and wasn’t able to sleep well in the plane. As I was dozing off I would be awakened by a clanging sound. This happened many times that night. I was intrigued what that sound was and where it came from but thank God I was able to fall asleep after sometime.
The next day upon waking up, I asked hubby what that mysterious sound was, a sound which reminded me of church bells back home. He then ushered me to the living room and behold I saw the huge and decorative grandfather clock. He told me that it belonged to his maternal grandfather who was already dead. My own mom said that they used to be a symbol of opulence, well at least back in my home country.
So imagine my surprise when I saw a grandfather clock for only $198.95! Wow! I found it at 1-800-4clocks.com which sells all kinds of clocks. If I buy it, would that mean I’m rich? Hahaha who would know it’s only less than $200? And it can be an imposing décor in our living room. I agree with what I’ve read from a clock blog: Clocks help decorate an addition. Hmmm… maybe it means it can be an additional décor?
Anyway, let’s take a look at the clocks available… how about the Howard Miller grandfather clock? Here’s one:

You might want to buy one too, its all for sale!
