Yesterday my nephews and nieces were watching in my sister’s notebook some music videos and were singing and dancing enthusiastically with it. “What’s that?” I asked them. They chorused in reply “Eurovision!!!” They’ve transferred residence to Europe barely a year ago, and they’re so European in so many ways already. It’s good that they have easily adapted to life in Europe.
Where do I live? I haven’t heard about Eurovision before. Hah! Anyway, they were patient enough to explain to me that it’s a song contest participated by European countries. When I searched in Wikipedia about it, I found out that its not just Euro countries but active member countries of the European Broadcasting Union.
Anyway, my 4 year old nephew was raving over Spain’s upbeat Baila El Chiki Chiki song and my 7 year old neice liked Sweden’s Hero and Latvia’s Wolves of the Sea.
