We went shopping today, the second time since we arrived here in the Finnish land. The first time, it was my brother-in-law who paid for the toiletries we bought. Anyway today, we headed to the convenience store coz we lacked few items for dinner.
I’ve been hearing how horrendous the prices of goods in euros are. And it’s really true. When compared to the monetary value in the Central Europe where I’m living, it’s way, way expensive!
So for 9.70 euros, I was able to buy:
1 head of cabbage
2 packs – 4 x 125 g of choco/vanilla pudding
6 pieces of mini yoghurt
375 grams of noodles
2 kilos of potatoes
half kilo of frozen mixed vegetables
What do you think?

1That’s not bad at all… the same list would cost you twice as much in Dublin!
