So the second grand slam event of the year, the French Open 2008 is finished. The tennis tournament played on clay courts has already announced the champions with Rafael Nadal or Rafa of Spain winning for men’s singles and the Serbian beauty Ana Ivanovic for women’s singles.

After the exciting French Open 2008 has concluded and the winners have been announced, what’s next for tennis fanatics to look forward to? It’s the Wimbledon Championships, the oldest and major championship in the world of tennis. This year’s championship games will start on June 23 until July 6. Have you purchased your Wimbledon tennis tickets already?

I doubt if the players had their rest after the French Open, coz barely a month after, they have to fight it out in the courts again. They have also spend their remaining weeks for practicing and preparing for Wimbledon, develop and improve their skills so they can win!

The big question is, will 2007 champions Roger Federer and Venus Williams defend their throne or will the French Open champions Rafael Nadal or Ana Ivanovic steal the title from them?
